We go to visit Munich. The weather was a little rainy, but we found a few spots to explore. At the Rathaus (Mayor’s house) we watched a live Glockenspiel, cheered along with the people celebrating Christopher Street Day (Gay Pride Day!), and climbed the Old Peter tower for the best view of Munchen. At the Englischergarten (a Beer Garden), we ate brezn (pretzel), weisswurst (white sausage), and drank a mass bier of my favorite drink Radler (beer & lemonade!).
In the afternoon we visited BMW Welt (World) & Museum for my modern architecture fix. Then we headed off to Olympia Park to explore the old grounds of the 1972 Summer Olympics. Tollwood festival was our last stop before heading home.
