Versailles! We drove to Chateau de Versailles, stood in the Gallerie des Glaces (Hall of Mirrors), and took in the beauty of the home of Kings Louis XIII & Louis XIV and their royal court. On the grounds are beautiful gardens, Grand Trianon (their summer estate), and Marie Antionette’s Estate- Hameau de la Reine (Queen’s Hamlet). The depth of detail and richness of the entire grounds was astounding and we did not have a chance to explore even half of it!
