After attempting an early morning rush to go up the Eiffel Tower, we decided to skip the three hour line and head straight to Monmartre, which quickly became my favorite place in Paris. We saw the Moulin Rouge, Place du Tertre, and Sacre Coeur. In Monmartre, we had a celebrity sighting and I sketched my first French scene. Afterwards we went to Pere la Chaise and visited Jim Morrison’s grave. To end the day we went to yet another fete jardin at Stephane’s house. It was the best last night with Jenny and her talented friends who played jazz music well into the night!
