Off the train, Jose and I first took a boat tour in Amsterdam. In the Jordaan district we saw the smallest house (1m wide), the Anne Frank House, and Church Westerkerk. In the afternoon, we met up with Jose’s brother, Marcel in Vondelpark. We walked past the famous Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and a concert hall. I tried eating kaas souflee and kroket at Febo and haring (salted herring). We walked through the Red Light district, but did not stop. At night we took a train to Utrecht and ate pannenkoeken (pancakes) in Jose’s kitchen.
